In a first event of its type, India’s second F1 racer, Chandhok, and Biking enthusiast and first and only Indian woman to complete the Raid de Himalayan on a motorbike, Kashyap, reveal their experiences with motorsports in India.
On the eve of Alumni day, held on 17th and 18th December, IIT Delhi witnessed the homecoming of several of its heroes. Among them were 3 students of the 2010 batch, who had managed to make it large. And not by joining a heavy-paying bigshot industry, but by taking initiative and giving their dreams, the refined shape of a startup. These 3 were – Raghav Verma, the co-founder of Chaayos ; Samar Singla, Founder of Jugnoo and Ravi Soni, the founder of Obbserv.

The Blood Connect put up a spectacular event at Dogra Hall this Sunday, with amazing performances by dance group Terpsi Chorean and rock band Tarkash, and politician Ajay Maken visiting the event and applauding the noble work that Blood Connect is doing. Ambar Srivastava is a dual degree graduate in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology from IIT Delhi (year -2008). Ambar developed a mobile phone-sized haemoglobin meter dubbed the TrueHb Hemometer for which he received MIT’s TR35 award for top innovators under 35.
