The viewpoints of the primary stakeholder on the need of the quota system.
The dominant view on reservation that we usually see is of an evil that takes away the seats from the deserving candidates in favour of the reserved ones, however it mostly comprises of the voices raised from the critical end of the spectrum. This end mostly consists of the general public, people who have not been subjected to various discriminatory acts in the past.
It’s a well known fact that a majority of the Indian society isn’t friendly towards the LGBT community. Well, “friendly” might even be an overstatement. Most of us are unwilling to accept that there is a third “I” in the World, an “I” formed by transgenders, bisexuals, gays and lesbians.

Established with a vision to produce engineers and scientists of the highest calibre through education and tightly integrated with research and extension, IIT Delhi has done great so far.
